2d Mulready from Walsall to London, dated 17 August 1840, cancelled first in Walsall by 2 strikes of the Maltese Cross in Red matching the datestamp on reverse and then upon being readdressed in London (using a piece of paper stuck over the original name) cancelled again by a further orange-red Maltese Cross.
