1843 (Dec 27) Entire letter from Barnes to Edinburgh franked 1841 2d (3 margins) cancelled by three Maltese Crosses, "Hampstead N.O / 2 Py PAID" struck in error alongside the stamp and obliterated by a further five Maltese Crosses, replaced by "T.P / Hampstead - NO". Backstamped at Barnes and Edinburgh. An exceptional use of Maltese Cross handstamps.
