Entire, sent unpaid from Achanalt to Bonawe addressed to John Cameron the Postmaster, dated 15 January 1841, used as scrap paper to clean/test his Maltese Cross cancel. With 5 strikes of a red Maltese Cross (2 of which are very faint).
In 1846 at age 25, John Cameron was convicted of forging money orders at Inverary assizes and sentenced to transportation for life to Van Diemans land.
