A fine used 1d Mulready envelope, Stereo A147, used Dublin to Ballymartin in Co. Limerick on 4th June 1840. Cancelled by a superb upright orange shade Dublin Maltese Cross.
A wonderful example of early Irish usage of the Mulready and a coloured maltese cross. Rarer than the Liverpool orange cross.
