1d Red-brown on blued paper (plate 2), sent from Truro to Exeter, dated 22 November 1841, cancelled with both blue and red maltese crosses.
Newlyn (or St Newlyn) was a Penny Post under Truro and about eight miles north of the town. As Newlyn is unlikely to hve been cancelling stamps (being a Penny Post receiving office), one possibility is that both crosses were applied at Truro.
